At Eagle Hill Farms, we believe great riders start with great horsemanship. Our horsemanship lessons teach students the essential skills needed to confidently and safely care for, handle, and understand horses both on and off the ground.
Through hands-on learning, students gain experience in grooming, tacking up, horse behavior, feeding, health care basics, stable management, and groundwork. Whether you're new to horses or looking to build a stronger foundation, our program develops confidence, responsibility, and a deeper connection with these incredible animals.

Our 30-minute adaptive riding lessons are for riders with different goals and would benefit from an adaptive technique. Each lessons is thoughtfully tailored to each rider’s individual needs and goals. designed to build confidence, balance, coordination, independence, and enjoyment.Our sessions are tailored to each rider’s individual needs, goals, and experience level. Lessons can range from basic horsemanship and groundwork to more advanced mounted riding. Depending on the rider, sessions may be mounted or unmounted and can include grooming, interacting with our therapeutic horses, or spending time with our mini horses. We can also incorporate goals from a rider’s existing therapy plan to create a meaningful and individualized experience.

Private Riding Lessons
Our private lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each rider's goals and experience level.
45-Minute Lesson: 15 minutes of grooming, tacking up, and untacking, followed by 30 minutes of riding instruction.
30-Minute Lesson: 10 minutes of grooming and horse care, followed by 20 minutes of riding instruction.
Perfect for beginner through advanced riders looking to build confidence, horsemanship, and riding skills in a supportive environment.

Our half and full training programs are horse-first and tailored to the individual needs of each horse and rider. We take the time to understand where each partnership is starting and create a personalized training plan based on their goals, experience, and needs.
Whether you’re looking for regular training, additional support, or a comprehensive program, our focus is on developing a confident, well-rounded horse and rider while building a strong, trusting partnership.

Our full grooming service is designed for owners who expect exceptional, individualized care for their horses. Each horse receives a meticulous grooming from head to tail, including coat care, mane and tail care, hoof cleaning, and a detailed overall check. We take pride in the details, ensuring every horse leaves looking polished, feeling comfortable, and receiving the level of care they deserve.

Billing Policy
Lessons are invoiced at the beginning of each month to secure your scheduled spot. Payment is due by
the 3rd of the month; a $50 late fee will be applied to any account not paid by this date.
All paymentsare non-refundable.
Please note that we do not prorate or adjust monthly billing.
Cancellation & Makeup Lesson Policy
-Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to be eligible for a makeup lesson.
-Makeup lessons must be used within 30 days of the originally scheduled lesson date.
-No-shows are not eligible for a makeup lesson.
-Arriving 20 minutes late or more will be considered a no-show and will not qualify for a makeup lesson.
Note: Lesson times do not extend beyond the scheduled end time. For example, a 12:00–1:00 PM lesson will still end at 1:00 PM, even if the rider arrives late.
-Makeup lessons are offered based on availability and may be scheduled one time only.
Barn Attire Policy
Riders are required to wear appropriate attire at all times while on the property. This includes pants, a short- or long-sleeve shirt, and closed-toe shoes. Crop tops, tank tops, shorts, and open-toe footwear are not permitted.
For safety and professionalism, family members or guests remaining on-site during the lesson are also expected to follow these dress guidelines, including wearing closed-toe shoes and avoiding crop tops, tank tops, short shorts, or other non-barn-safe clothing.
Barn Access & Safety Policy
The barn is a private facility. For safety and security reasons, all visitors must be accompanied by an Eagle Hill Farm staff member at all times while on the property.
-Guests may not walk the property unaccompanied to avoid being mistaken for trespassers.
-Please refrain from petting, feeding, or visiting any horses that are not part of the Eagle Hill Farm program. please consider, horses can bite, may have unknown health concerns, and contact with multiple horses can unintentionally spread illness.Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Our therapeutic/adaptive riding program offers personalized instruction designed around each rider’s unique needs and goals, using riding and hands-on horsemanship to build confidence, independence, connection, and a sense of accomplishment.
We also offer private riding lessons, horse and rider training, horse trialing and sales support, and individualized boarding and care. Every aspect of our program is built around a horse-first approach, with careful attention to quality care, thoughtful training, and creating the right partnership between horse and rider.
lesson policy/Barn Rules
-Payment is billed at the beginning of each month to reserve a spot and must be paid by the 3rd or a late fee will be charged, no refunds.
-Cancelations must be made 24 hours in advance to receive a makeup.
-Makeups are made based on availability and are not guaranteed.
-Dress Code: Riders must wear pants and a short/long sleeve shirt, closed toed shoes at the barn at all times (no crop tops, tank tops, shorts or opened toes shoes).
-Anytime you are on the property you must be accompanied by a member of EHF (no petting or visiting other horses that are not EHF horses).
