Every lesson begins with a horse, and providing these incredible animals with the highest level of care is at the heart of our program. Donations help cover the ongoing cost of caring for our therapeutic horses and keeping them healthy, happy, and ready to serve our riders.
The approximate monthly cost to care for one therapeutic horse includes:
Board & daily care: $1,500
Feed & supplements: $300
Farrier care: $150
Veterinary & dental care: $150
Insurance & routine expenses: $100
Estimated total: $2,200 per horse, per month.
